FIT-4-SCHOOL: Health, fitness and education for Czech students

According to recent statistics, 25% of children are overweight and 14% are obese. This trend is alarming and requires immediate attention. In response to this issue, the Form Factory company, together with GTS Alive (ISIC CR), is coming up with a project of active involvement of students in exercise and a healthy lifestyle at secondary and higher schools – the FIT-4-SCHOOL project.

“We are trying to bring an innovative approach to the fight against obesity among the younger generation. The FIT-4-SCHOOL project is not only about exercise, but about creating healthy lifestyle habits and a positive relationship with exercise. We believe that investing in the health and fitness of our students has a long-term positive impact on the entire society.”

The pilot phase began in September 2024 at selected schools in Prague 3 and 7, where the project is initially being tested. Subsequently, from January 2025 and in the following school year, it is planned to expand participation in the project to other schools that are interested in participating. Our goal is to involve as many students and educators as possible in this innovative initiative that aims at a healthy lifestyle.
