Although Fitness is familiar with us, are we sure of its true meaning and whether we use it correctly?
Today, fitness is generally understood as a physical activity and a new philosophy of life that means being fit, fit and healthy. However, it is also important to know that the definition of this concept has changed over the years. In 1996, specialists in various types of physical activity at the Birmingham Conference developed a definition of ‘Be Fit’, which states that fitness is a state of the body that induces a state of mental and physical well-being in a given person . He then increases his fitness through a variety of movement, which adjusts according to his abilities, taste and expectations. The overall goal is to improve the functioning of your body in every conceivable way. And do you know what fitness means in practice?
Fitness equipment is a myriad of machines and aids that allow you to engage the deepest parts of your muscles.
In our clubs Form Factory you always have fitness equipment, which will be used in your training by an experienced exerciser and a beginner. In addition, free weights and state-of-the-art functional equipment are available for the advanced. Each workout is complemented by fully equipped cardio machines (eg treadmills, ellipticals, treadmills or stairs). Each club has a range of other equipment, such as light dumbbells, fitness belts, expanders or resistive rubber, which you can also use within your membership. With our equipment you can easily exercise the whole body.
However, make sure that you are using the individual devices correctly before starting training. This will make your training more effective but above all safe. If you are not sure how to exercise properly, ask one of our personal trainers for advice.
For those of you who do not like to practice alone and prefer group exercise, we have an extensive range of studio lessons available. In our studio halls are available a variety of exercise programs focused on building muscle, body shaping, cardio, high intensity interval exercises, dance lessons, stretching and relaxation lessons and much more. The advantage of group exercises is their unique atmosphere. Of course there are highly trained instructors who will be happy to advise you and ensure that the exercises are carried out to ensure that the exercise is as effective as possible. It’s a great way to keep fit and have a lot of fun as a bonus. Form Factory club lessons will be the perfect motivation for you, as there is a feeling of healthy competition with the other participants in the lessons, which ensures that each of you wants to make the most of yourself, ensuring great results.
The most important element of a training plan is to set the goal you want to achieve and to set a time period to achieve it. Without that, your motivation could disappear as soon as you start. If you are not sure how to set up your training plan, ask one of our coaches for help. An experienced trainer will no doubt provide useful advice and recommendations. In addition, it is important to remember “common sense” during exercise and sporting activities. What does this mean in practice? Common sense is to have awareness of your body and its abilities.
If you are in the gym after many years (or even for the first time), do not overload or overestimate your abilities. Plan a light training session to engage your muscles without causing pain that could lead to other problems. Next, make sure your exercises are not monotonous and the exercises are different. In this way, you avoid over-strengthening only one part of the muscles and weakening the other muscles. It is also advisable to supplement the basic exercise plan with completely different activities. For example, if you are exercising with free weights, other training activities should focus on cardio and stretching. An important part of each exercise is rest and relaxation. Soothing your breath and stretching tired muscles is an essential part of any exercise. A selection of fitness areas includes a stretching zone, swimming pool, sauna and hot tub. A visit to the jacuzzi or sauna allows you to relax your muscles and prevent possible pain after a workout.
Fitness is a broad concept where everyone can find exercises and activities that fully meet their needs, abilities and skills. Form Factory specialists are aware of this and have designed individual fitness centers so that anyone who likes physical activity can find the right fit for themselves.
