Form Factory is a partner of the Polish Day

On Saturday, June 4, Praguers will have a unique opportunity to visit the picturesque Fürstenberg Gardens, which are located directly below Prague Castle and are not normally open to the public. That day, the traditional Polish Day is being held in the gardens of the Polish Embassy, ​​to which Form Factory is joining this year. Lovers of good music or food as well as families with children, for whom a program is always prepared, will enjoy the whole day. At the end of the evening, a summer cinema awaits everyone.

Representatives of Polish regions will make sure that you not only have fun, but also get to know the biggest attractions of Poland. This year, the cities of Łód a and Wrocław and the Lower Silesian and Świętokrzyskie Voivodesh will be presented in the gardens.

“Poland is still an undiscovered country for many Czechs. At the same time, it can offer beautiful nature, monuments, but also modern architecture, interesting museums and a great level of services, “says Wojciech Bednarek, Deputy Director of the Polish Institute in Prague, the main organizer of the Polish Day. “Our event is a tasting of Poland that should entice you to want to know more.”

At the stands, attractions will be prepared directly by representatives of various tourist attractions, such as Książ Castle, Milica Ponds, Huta Julia, Stara Kopalnia Science and Art Center, Stara Kopalnia Toy Museum, Toy Museum ), The City of Karpacz, the City of Kłodzko, the Paper Museum, the Wrocław Zoo, the Hydropolis or the Mr. Tadeusz Museum. Children and adults will be able to take part in many games and workshops, such as learning to make handmade paper, catching fish, experimenting with water and ice, and making toys with their own hands. It will be possible to take part in many competitions, which include a voucher for a weekend stay in Wroclaw. The EduBus mobile laboratory, prepared by Orlen-Unipetrol, will be parked in front of the embassy. A multimedia caravan will be waiting for guests, where they will be able to get acquainted with the attractions of the Holy Cross Voivodeship with literally all their senses.

Wroclaw folk group Buraka and Aga Twardoch will perform on the stage with cover versions of songs by legends of the stars of the Polish music scene, including Czesław Niemen and the band Republika. Our partners from the Form Factory gym network, who have prepared a set of exercises on the lawn for the whole family, will also entertain the spectators. In the evening, there will be a fashion show prepared by the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódži and a film screening in the summer cinema.

This year, our special guests will be representatives of the Belarusian and Ukrainian national minorities in the Czech Republic, who will present their cultural activities in a special stand and perform on stage with a special art program.

There will also be good food and drink. The gastronomic offer includes grilled dishes, bigos, herring, pies, salads, soups and cakes. You will be able to taste traditional Wrocław gingerbreads, adults are invited to taste beer from local Polish breweries and mead.
